Introduction of the Trail:

The trip starts from Kathmandu with a bus journey (8- 9 hours/141 km) driving along the Prithvi Highway. From Dhading Beshi our route separates to Gorkha, and we reach Arughat – Soti Khola. Normally, the trip used to begin from Arughat Bazar and end at Besisahar in the past, but, later after the new construction of the road, it does not have fix point to start and end.

The second day our journey begins following Budhi Gandaki River along the recently constructed gravel road to Manasalu – Larkye Sama Gaun. The trail ascends following Budhi Gandaki River along the off-road and mixed rugged trail and passes by the phenomenal isolated Buddhist region with a magnificent mounts view. From Dyang hamlet, we will only see Tibetan inhabited villages. Most of the locals and their culture, customs, and language are influenced by Tibet. We will pass by several mani walls, prayer stone walls, gompa, fluttering prayer flags, beautiful farmlands, lodges, and bridges.  This trial will reward us with the beauty of nature and culture and present a rejuvenating experience.

After 5 days of fabulous trekking, we will reach Sama village underneath the Pinnacle Mount Manaslu. It is one of the most touristic places in this remote area. It has wonderful side trips around here, such as Manaslu Base Camp, Punggen Gompa, Birendra Lake, and sightseeing of the village and monastery.
