During this tour, you will be served 3 meals a day which you can pick from an open Menu as per your choice and preference. The meals that you can pick from are bread with jam or honey, rice pudding, oats porridge with fruits, boiled egg or scrambled egg, vegetable or cheese omelette, French or plain toast, vegetable fried potato etc. for breakfast. One of the representatives from Himalayan Diamond Adventure will have reached Tribhuvan International Airport to welcome you to the mountainous country of Nepal. After picking you up and collecting your luggage, we will drop you off to your hotel room where you can take a brief refreshment and leisure time. You will host a welcome dinner in the Nepali cultural dance restaurant for you while also dropping some ideas and briefs on tomorrow’s program. We will then drop you in the same hotel room where you will be staying the night.
Kathmandu valley is home to the biggest Hindu shrine Pashupatinath temple, the largest Buddhist stupa in town Boudhanath, the revered Patan Durbar Square the 15th-century palace of 55 windows Bhaktapur and Swayambhunath stupa. We are going to explore these famous ancient sites and architectures of Nepal which depict the wonderful mixture of Hinduism, Tibetan Buddhism and western impact in the Valley. You will visit these sites with a proficient guide who will provide you some intriguing facts about the places that you will visit. In the evening, a trip orientation meeting will be organized after which you will be dropped back to the hotel room for the overnight stay.
Today we will drive 200km west from Kathmandu towards Pokhara via a tourist bus. This scenic drive uncovers to you the stunning mountain terrain view (Ganesh Himalaya range, Ngadi Chuli, Manasalu, Lamjung, Machhapuchhare, Annapurna III, Annapurna II, Annapurna south and so much more). Apart from these, you will see the landscape of forest, cultivated lands, hills, waterfalls as you drive down the path following down Trisuli river, Marsyangdi river, etc. Overnight stay at a hotel (lakeside) in Pokhara.
We will enjoy a scenic drive from Pokhara to Nayapul for about 1 hour and 30 minutes after which our trek will officially begin to Hille. Depending upon the client’s physical fitness, this will take us about 3 hours of walking along the off-road trail etc. The trail passes through several settlements and farmer’s cultivated lands, such as rice fields, potato, barley, maize, and vegetables. The trail continuously passes following up the north bank of Burundi Khola and villages (astounding views are waiting for you here) to Hile - Tikhedhungga. We will continue trekking and reach Ulleri region where we will stay overnight at Lodge.
Our destination today is the legendary Ghorepani which is mostly inhabited by the local Magar. Ghorepani is one of the most touristic places in this Annapurna region which provides picturesque views that can inspire everyone. Our steps will ascend more up way gently as we leave Ulleri and inch through Poon Magar’s tea houses and green luxurious forests of oak, rhododendron, and magnolia, towards Banthanti at 2,250 meters and Nangethati at 2,460 meters. Eventually, we will reach Ghorepani looking at the magnificent view of Machhapuchhre Himal (situated at 6,993 meters. After trekking for about 7 hours from Ulleri we will reach Ghorepani where we will stay overnight at a Lodge.
The sixth day of this tour we get up early in the morning and head towards Poonhill (3,210 meters) for the best panoramic viewpoint. From an elevation of 3,210 meters (10,531ft), we can have an outstanding view of sunrise over Annapurna Himalayas, including Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Fishtail, Tukuche peak, Nilgiri, Manaslu and many other adjoining peaks. After the picturesque climb and enchanting mountain view, we will trek back to Ghorepani lodge. After our usual breakfast time, we will move towards Tadapani through the trail amidst the rhododendron, bamboo, oak and pine jungle with a captivating landscape. We will spend overnight at a lodge in Tadapani that includes dinner and breakfast with hot drink services like tea and coffee.
Today we will descend in a gentle downhill trail through the thriving rhododendron forests to Bhaisi Kharka which is a seamless place for a tea break. After refreshment, we will trek down to Ghandruk (Gorkha army Gurung’s village). There is a large Gurung community, one of the ethnic groups of Nepal in Ghandruk and the locals of this region have their own dialect, unique culture, costume, and lifestyle. This village is possibly the popular tourist destination that offers beautiful mountain views, a chance to witness Nepali unique culture from close and have an easy connection with Pokhara or Kathmandu. Overnight at Lodge in Ghandruk includes dinner and breakfast with hot drink services like tea and coffee.
We will trek down towards Kimche. Kimche is getting busier due to the vehicle station. Today we will drive up to Nau danda (this takes around 1.5 hours) through the terraced rice fields, villages, Tikhedhunga and Nayapul. We then start the trek towards Sarangkot which will take us another 2 hours along the road. Sarangkot is a hillock which grants captivating neighbouring mountain views and fascinating scenery of Pokhara valley. We spend overnight at a guesthouse which includes dinner and breakfast service.
After the remarkable trekking experience and astounding mountain sights from Sarangkot, we will trek down to Pokhara valley with a captivating lake’s view. After walking off 2.5 hours down a vertical way to the lake we will reach a hotel in Pokhara. Upon arrival in the hotel, you can rest for a while and then also take some time to explore Pokhara. We will stay in the hotel which includes the breakfast service.
Via a tourist bus, you will drive from Pokhara to Chitwan. Our staff will meet you at either Chitrasari or Tadi and accompany you to the resort where light refreshment awaits! After refreshment and a short break, we will provide you a brief of Chitwan exploration and sightseeing.
13.00 hours: Lunch.
15.00 hours: You will take a village tour to a nearby ethnic Tharu village with your tour guide where you will learn more about the lifestyle and unique culture of the Tharus. Next thing to look forward to is the National Park visitor's centre where you can learn more about the history of the National Park and about wildlife. At last, don’t forget the sunset view from the bank of the Rapti river.
19.00 hours: Your last outdoor activity demands you to be a part of the cultural dance of the local Tharus of the region. Chitwan is famous for the Tharu cultural dance performance which is hosted and performed by the local villagers or slide show presentation that surrounds Chitwan.
20.00 hours: You will have dinner and return back to the hotel for overnight stay.
You will start the day early and enjoy the delicious breakfast while enjoying the serenity of the Terai region of Nepal. One of the first activities that you will get indulged in is Canoe riding. You might also see rare birds, crocodiles etc. after this follows the jungle safari. The detailed time and itinerary is-

07.00 hours: Canoe ride along the Rapti River. An excellent opportunity for bird watching, for seeing the rare species of crocodiles (the marsh mugger and fish-eating gharial) and jungle walk on the way back where one can enjoy the scene of elephant bathing (this one will replenish all your energy).
13.00 hours: Lunch.
15.00 hours: Elephant Safari - An excellent opportunity to see four different kinds of deer, rhinoceros, boar, monkey, leopard, sloth bear and the royal Bengal tiger (If you are lucky). You will also encounter many other smaller mammals – the residents of Royal Chitwan National Park their home.
19.00 hours: Tharu cultural dance presentation or slideshow presentation.
20.00 hours: Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
We will visit some remaining places of Chitwan before going back to Kathmandu. If you have any other thing left in “to do activities in Chitwan National Park”, today is the day to do so.
