Perfect Trek Arrangement

I had the pleasure of having Chandra Shor Rai as a climbing guide for the Sherpani-West Col trek in December 2015. I highly praise Chandra as a climbing and trekking guide for the Nepalese Himalayas. He is able to communicate in English very well and was always sure that we understood the expectations and conditions of the trek.

In addition to being an outstanding guide, Chandra was also a competent cook at higher altitudes. He always ensured that we were comfortable and feeling well and strong. What really impressed me was his care concerning the well-being and safety, not only of his clients but also of his porters, who formed an integral part of the trekking team. He constantly spent the time and effort required to make sure that everyone in the party was as safe as possible.

Chandra proved himself to be an excellent guide during my adventure to the Makalu region and he deserves my highest recommendation.
